Front-row couture: the stars who lit up Paris

From Bad Bunny in yellow by Schiaparelli to Pedro Pascal in Chanel, all the way to Jennifer Lopez, who finally took her seat at Zuhair Murad after 15 years: the best of the front rows at Couture Week.

At haute couture, the real show begins before the lights come on the runway: in the front rows. And the July edition confirmed that Hollywood has now chosen Paris as its second red carpet.

Schiaparelli: Surrealism Even in the Front Row.

Kicking things off was a front row worthy of “The Abyss”: Michelle Yeoh, Vera Wang, and a stunning Emma Corrin in a multicolored feather jacket with claws protruding from her bustier. But the real showstopper was Bad Bunny, in a custom yellow suit with gold brooches and a braided tie.

Dior: Anderson’s guest list. At the Musée Rodin, Jonathan Anderson’s fresh take drew a diverse crowd: Sabrina Carpenter, Naomi Watts, Parker Posey, Alexa Chung, and the couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. A guest list that perfectly captures the new direction: pop, sophisticated, and slightly eccentric. Chanel: the Grand Palais of the stars. For the second installment of Blazy’s collection, the front row featured Pedro Pascal, Tilda Swinton, Teyana Taylor, Lupita Nyong’o, Alexa Demie, and Michelle Yeoh once again, with Baz Luhrmann rounding out the lineup. The message is clear: the new Chanel also speaks to Hollywood.

Jennifer Lopez at Zuhair Murad: After more than 15 years of wearing his dresses on the red carpet, J.Lo attends his fashion show for the first time. The circle is complete.
