From Schiaparelli to Dior, four days for thirty fashion houses. Here are the events you shouldn't miss and why they matter.
From today, Monday, July 6th, to Thursday, July 9th, Paris returns as the world capital of Haute Couture Week Fall/Winter 2026-2027, organized by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM). Four days, thirty fashion houses on the official calendar, thirty fashion shows: the most exclusive showcase in the sector.
The week opened this morning at 10:00 with Schiaparelli and continues in the afternoon with Christian Dior at 2:30 pm. Imane Ayissi, Iris van Herpen, Georges Hobeika, Julie de Libran, Rahul Mishra, Standing Ground, and ArdAzAei will also be present throughout the day.
Five events to mark in your diary
1. Balenciaga—Pierpaolo Piccioli's first couture show with the Maison. Having joined the house in 2025, after leaving Valentino, Piccioli created his first Parisian tailoring with the French brand here. The most anticipated moment of the season: it will define the aesthetic direction of the Spanish house under his leadership.
2. Jean Paul Gaultier by Duran Lantink. The Dutch designer's couture debut as a guest of the JPG maison. A rotating workshop for years, the Gaultier project continues to be the most liberated space in French couture, not to be missed this Wednesday.
3. Manish Malhotra — Wednesday, July 8. The Indian couturier officially debuts on the Paris calendar. A cultural moment even more than a stylistic one: Parisian couture opens its doors to the subcontinent's most celebrated haute couture designer.
4. Christian Dior — today, 2:30 PM. A highly anticipated show. It comes just days after one of the most photographed weddings of the year—that of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce—which saw the fashion house take center stage globally with custom couture by Jonathan Anderson.
5. Chanel. The classic of classics. Along with Dior, Schiaparelli, Elie Saab, and Zuhair Murad, it will be livestreamed on Tuesday.
Where to follow it live
